How to Rate Applicants
Navigate to your Casting Dashboard and select 'Go to Application Manager' next to the project title to see all applicants related to that project.
The 'Actions' Menu
Start by selecting the applicant you want to rate by checking the box in the left corner of their photo. Then click on the 'Actions' button.
A dropdown will appear, giving you several options:
- Send a Message - Send the user a message using the Backstage messaging feature.
- Request an Audition - Request a self-tape audition
- Add to Role - Add this applicant to the list of applicants for a different role (they will remain in their original role as well)
- Remove from Role - Remove this applicant from the list of applicants under this role
- Move to Audition - This will move this applicant to the list of applicants who have auditioned, or you will invite to audition
- Move to Cast - This will move this applicant to the list of applicants whom you have cast in the role
- Move to Yes - This will send the applicant to the 'Yes' or thumbs up list
- Move to No - This will send the applicant to the 'No' or thumbs down list
- Invite to Apply - This will send the applicant an invitation to apply
At any time, you can remove the applicant from any list you have placed them in by selecting the 'Remove from _____' option in the action menu. This will send them back to the 'Unfiled' list.
The Applicant Card
In addition from the 'Actions' menu, you may also rate and take action upon an applicant using the buttons along the bottom of their applicant card.
From left to right:
- Thumbs Up - Moves user to the 'Yes' list
- Thumbs Down - Moves user to the 'No' list
- Notes - allows you to write notes about the applicant. This is a very handy feature when you have collaborators on your projects.
- Send a Message - Send the user a message using the Backstage messaging feature.
- Request self-tape - Request a self-tape audition from the user
Note: Any actions taken from the 'Actions' menu, or on the Applicant Card will not notify the user except in the cases of sending a message. Otherwise you are free to play around.
